Geroskipou is a coastal town of Paphos, known to be very traditional with its large library in the centre and its events and concerts that are held in the village square. With a population of over 7,000 people it is considered to be a very large town as it has its own major supermarkets, hairdressers as well as public schools. Geroskipou also has frequent bus links to the harbour, the old town as well as the Aphrodite Waterpark, therefore easily connecting it with major attractions.

Geroskipou is also very close to the large football stadium and swimming gala stadium therefore giving easy and fast access of those facilities to the locals. There are plans to refurbish the coast of Geroskipou, and develop a new marina, which will have many top-class restaurants on the sea-front as well as being a picturesque place to have a coffee or ice-cream.
